The foundation of the Republic of Moosylvania rests on its great citizens.

Our leadership team is experienced with national and global brands in Automotive, B-to-B, Beverage, Consumer Packaged Goods, Entertainment, Financial Services, QSR, Retail, Sciences, Spirits, Telecom, Technology and Travel.

We work to assure insights, design, branding and ideas lead the way and tactics follow. Our success is due to the combined vision and talents of all our citizens, 'Moosers,’ some of which can be found on this page.

Gus Hattrich - President of MoosylvaniaGus Hattrich - President
Gus Hattrich has spent his entire life in the agency business. His father ran a successful agency, and growing up, Gus quickly learned the value of a big idea. Throughout his 14-year career, he has tried to maintain the guiding principle that at the foundation of any great agency are the people who commit themselves to making big ideas happen.

Nick Foppe - Executive Vice President, Director Client ServicesNick Foppe - Executive Vice President, Director Client Services
Nick Foppe has spent the past 16 years working on both the brand and agency side of the marketing industry. Nick has worked as an Event Manager for the Michelob® and O’Doul’s® brands on the PGA Tour®, a Promotions Manager at Miller Brewing Company®, and a Senior Brand Manager, then Regional Sales Manager for Pabst Brewing Company®. While at Enterprise Rent-A-Car®, he led a team to launch marketing efforts for WeCar®, a new car sharing program. Nick brings a tremendous level of experience in both consumer strategy, as well as trade knowledge, which provides him an informed perspective at all touch points. You’ll find him skiing, fishing, or listening to live music when he is not traveling through airports for Moosylvania.

Norty Cohen - CEO of MoosylvaniaNorty Cohen - CEO
Norty Cohen has spent his career in the marketing services industry, with the majority of this time as a partner and Chief Operating Officer of a major agency which completed a sale to IPG in 2001. He began his career as a copywriter and creative director and remains passionate about the quality of the work. He doesn't believe in offices with doors - so no one gets one - including him.

Rodney Mason - CMO of MoosylvaniaRodney Mason - CMO
Rodney has led marketing initiatives for a variety of major technology, consumer goods, restaurant, entertainment and financial service companies. He was formerly CMO, Managing Director for a global agency that reported the highest interactive growth of all major US agencies in 2007, and before that he opened and ran the Chicago office of a major agency. He's won over 100 industry awards and loves to spend his free time with his family.

Liz Ott - Vice President of MoosylvaniaLiz Ott - Vice President
As one of the original residents of Moosylvania, Liz has been in the agency business for over 8 years. Her passion for marketing and brand strategy led her to pursue higher learning at Washington University in St. Louis, where she received a Masters in Business Administration. Liz has managed an extensive variety of strategic initiatives for consumer packaged goods clients that include experiential marketing, national and global promotional programming, regional programming, new package development, product re-launch, research, and advertising initiatives. Additionally, Liz has developed and managed strategic initiatives for business-to-business clients. Liz is currently spending her nights and weekends focused on an exciting new programming and development project – a German Short-haired Pointer puppy named Volpi.

Brooke Friedman - Vice President of Account ServiceBrooke Friedman - Vice President of Account Service
It all started 10 years ago when Brooke left the glamorous world of television, Emmy award in hand, to conquer the world of marketing. As a founding member of Moosylvania, Brooke has impressively brought together her strategic insights with creative concepts on a variety of national and global projects. Her experience in the world of high-end spirits has left her with a refined sense for luxury marketing and an equally refined palate. She also enjoys traveling and hiking, as long as there is cell-phone reception.

Sharon Ayres - Vice President of Human ResourcesSharon Ayres - Vice President of Human Resources
Sharon Ayres joined the Moosylvania team in 2006 to handle the Human Resource details associated with growing a company. Sharon manages staffing and personnel issues to keep the work flowing seamlessly throughout Moose. She keeps many of her PR, creative writing, and business development hats in a nearby drawer.

Sharon's repertoire also includes SHRM, business study at St. Louis University, life as a Sports Agent, and managing the build-out of Moosylvania's national award-winning space.

Lynn Ullman - Vice President and Sr. Creative DirectorLynn Ullman - Vice President and Sr. Creative Director
For nearly three decades, Lynn has created smart, exciting advertising and promotions. She brings extensive experience in the food and beverage category to Moosylvania. Her range of experience includes ice cream, spirits, professional sports and package goods. When she's not bringing brands to life, she keeps busy with her 7-year old son in her 107-year-old house.

Teresa Sausville - Senior Creative DirectorTeresa Sausville - VP Creative Director Writing
Teresa is a charter member of Moosylvania and its resident sommelier and mixologist. In fact, some of her creations have even caught the attention of Wolfgang Puck. Teresa’s passion for the power of good communication has led to compelling ideas for brands in the snack and frozen food, alcohol and juice beverage, children’s fashion and pet food industries. In her free time, she loves spending time outdoors. And whether it’s bike riding or boating, she’s sure to bring her two little girls along for the fun. 

Mike Wienke - Creative DirectorMike Wienke - Creative Director
In his 11 years in the marketing industry, Mike has created unique, compelling concepts for everything from traditional advertising to promotions to events. He has had the opportunity to work on some of the biggest names in soft drinks, technology, chemical sciences, beer and others. Mike can usually be found frantically writing in his natural environment - a cluttered desk strewn with a combination of notes, books and empty cups.

John Fortune - Creative DirectorJohn Fortune - Creative Director
John comes from a long line of graphics professionals - starting with his grandfather, who was a sign painter - and has been designing things for money for over eight years. John has used his passion for art and design to create arresting campaigns for a variety of clients in the beer, spirits, dairy and travel information industries.

Rob Brooks - Creative DirectorRob Brooks - VP Creative Director
With over 8 years experience in the beverage category, Rob has been working on Spirits for the last three years. Although he has a strong passion for design, he believes that concept comes first. Throughout his career he has built an array of experience in promotions, advertising, multimedia, and broadcast on brands in the beer, restaurant, food delivery, pet food and chemical industries. Rob is always on the lookout for the next big thing in technology, design, or even fashion. A fun fact about Rob is that he has a dog named Burt Reynolds, who sports one of the finest dog mustaches this planet has ever seen.

AnneMarie Greene - Account DirectorAnneMarie Greene - VP Client Services
In the business for a decade, AnneMarie joined Moosylvania’s account service team in 2004. She has since helped build global brands in the spirits industry and she was instrumental in developing identities for emerging brands in the restaurant and confectionaries industries. As our resident “Lost” theorist, she sets aside Thursday evenings for “research.”

Mary Jo Behrman - Account DirectorMary Jo Behrman - Director of Planning and Emerging Media
Before Mary Jo was a marketing insights wiz, she was a math teacher. That experience has been invaluable as she learned how to get inside people’s minds to understand how they think, process and learn. As the director of our international division for more than five years, she’s worked with major CPG and retail clients including Dean Foods, Kmart®, GREY GOOSE® Vodka, Britvic beverages, and MARTINI® wines. In her current role, Mary Jo directs consumer insights across the agency, helping to identify the best channels for brand engagement.
