Capital One, along with Chase and Barclaycards, is tapping the Isis Mobile Wallet to provide card users with mobile-friendly payments. The partnership with Isis will allow customers to use near field communications (NFC) to make payments at locations that offer the technology. Through Isis, Capital One card users can quickly and efficiently redeem mobile coupons, pay for purchases with a tap of their phone, and even log loyalty points through any particular loyalty club. “For these banks, this is a very significant commitment. The only way to do it right and make sure the experience is secure for issuers, consumers and retailers is to leverage the hardware,” said Jim Stapleton, chief sales officer for Isis, New York.
