Design Intern

We are accepting applications for Design Interns to join us through the 2018 summer months. If you are a May 2018 grad, or going to graduate in December of 2018 this could be your opportunity to ease in to your design career. We are flexible with hours and schedules. Our hope is that this will turn into a permanent full-time position within a few months. This is a paid internship.

Responsibilities:

• Gain experience concepting, creating and refining creative product, and manage production and release of final artwork. • Participate in brainstorm meetings to build ideas and to support brand voice and directions. • Assist in naming campaigns, logo and packaging designs, and in designing for all interactive options. • Research marketing, industry and design trends. Compile and share with your internal team • Continue to grow as a designer — read magazine, book, websites and blogs relative to your job • Create pre-production notes and ensure accuracy by sharing them with your AD and/or CD • Be able to gather all needed elements to hand a job off to production and meet with the production manager • Learn how to contribute to the pre-production meetings with internal team and external partner agencies • Begin to learn how to provide feedback on proofs regarding retouching and color correction • Understand your client’s brand logos, imagery, and fonts as well as all brand standards • Research marketing, industry and design trends. Compile and share with your internal team • Participate in photo and video shoots and grow in the knowledge of prop styling, lighting, and shooting photo/video • Continue to grow as a designer — read magazine, book, websites and blogs relative to your job • Create pre-production notes and ensure accuracy by sharing them with your AD and/or CD • Be able to gather all needed elements to hand a job off to production and meet with the production manager • Learn how to contribute to the pre-production meetings with internal team and external partner agencies • Begin to learn how to provide feedback on proofs regarding retouching and color correction • Understand your client’s brand logos, imagery, and fonts as well as all brand standards • Learn all facets of the Moosylvania design process, including concepting, creating, photo/video shoots, routing production and release of final artwork.
