The Situation
Known for easy person-to-person payments, the Venmo app helped millions of people pay and get paid. But Venmo was ready to add financial features that would give people a chance to explore cryptocurrencies and do more with their money.
The Challenge
Support the launch of Crypto on Venmo with assets that encourage users to invest in new currencies through the app.
The Insight
The Crypto market is volatile and complex, but we could show people they didn’t have to dive in headfirst. Venmo’s user-friendly app experience would give investors the chance to dip a toe into crypto.
Our Solution
We created a launch campaign and evergreen communication stream that focused on the needs of first-time crypto buyers. By developing basic educational resources and emphasizing the ease of Venmo’s crypto experience, we alleviated intimidation and encouraged exploration.
