Venmo has been the go-to for paying friends or splitting the tab for more than a decade, but the app wanted to show users they could do more–and stay secure.
The Challenge
Launch Purchase Protection coverage, and help people see the value in buying and selling with Venmo.
The Insight
Users already feel safe when they Venmo money to friends and family. We needed them to feel just as safe when they make a purchase from people they haven’t met yet.
Our Solution
We crafted a campaign that showed Venmo users that the app had their back. By highlighting fraud protection services, low-cost coverage and simple security, we could give people more support than they bargained for.
